Don't forget that Easter isn't just a single day, the Catholic Church celebrates it for a season of 50 days!!! (That's a long time!)
Here are some ideas to continue your celebration:
Alleluia reflection/activity from Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Alleluia Playlist on Spotify
There are many other Easter songs, this list focuses on ones with the word Alleluia. It's interesting to hear all of the different styles and cultures that praise God with the word Alleluia. I would love to hear if you have any favorites. (There are also many secular songs with the word Alleluia - interesting and I really love some of them - but I decided not to get into them here.)
Plant some seeds! Easter is all about new life and growing plants is a great hands-on illustration. Working in the dirt is also a proven way to beat the quarantine blues.
Spot some signs of Spring! Take pictures of some of the beautiful life that is emerging outdoors! The early flowers are open, tulips are pushing through the dirt and I imagine we'll be seeing blossoms on the trees really soon!
Photo Challenge: See how many different kinds of plants you can take photos of in your own yard (or neighborhood). I'll bet there are more different kinds of things growing there than you would guess. Please feel free to share favorite photos in the comments, or at least the number of different kinds of plants you were able to count. :)
